Greetings friends, and happy New Year!

After a brief holiday hiatus, NetSquared DC is back with another chance for you to help a featured nonprofit take their tech strategy and online communication efforts to the next level. This Tuesday (Jan. 15th), we're pimping Oil Change International. Join us to meet, swap stories and ideas, and build new relationships. Come at 7pm for drinks and mingling. The presentation begins at 7:30.

Please RSVP now

How Pimp My Nonprofit works:
It's half brainstorming session, half case-study. During the conversation, everyone will have a chance to participate and learn vicariously from some of the leading technology and communications experts in DC. We encourage any consultants and geeks in the audience to show up and strut your stuff. Newbies welcome too - we love fresh perspectives.

About Oil Change International:

Oil Change International campaigns to expose the true costs of oil and facilitate the coming transition towards clean energy. They are dedicated to identifying and overcoming political barriers to that transition.

Huge thanks to our sponsor (and NetSquared alumna!):

Prevent Human Trafficking (PHT) is a Washington DC-based nonprofit working to build a bridge between South East Asia and the United States to prevent human trafficking. PHT empowers individuals, organizations and governments to tackle the root causes of human trafficking through direct support and technical assistance. PHT uses its expertise and networks to promote best practice and inspire sustainable solutions in the movement to prevent human trafficking.

Prevent Human Trafficking has an exciting 2008 campaign to build a center for the street children of Pattaya -- hundreds -- who are homeless, living under bridges, and on the streets and in Pattaya, Thailand. Most street children suffer from family dysfunctions, family breakdown, abandonment, violence, and victimization at the hands of predators. These children have no education, little food and no protection of any kind. They are unfortunately, perfect targets for exploitation.

See you Tuesday night!
