Good news for our NetSquared Meetup (THIS WED!)

A former member
Thanks to all of you who already RSVP'd for our May meetup this Wednesday at 7p. If you haven't already noticed, we have a great new location (very exciting): Science Club on 19th and M.

If you haven't RSVP'd yet, check out the highlights below and then please click here to let us know if you'll be joining us (or even if you can't):

---> Here's the latest for Wednesday night:

(1) FREE DRINKS (again!) -- Thanks to Beaconfire Consulting for generously sponsoring our first round this month **

(2) OUR SPEAKER: This month, Jeff Regan, Online Communications Director at Defenders of Wildlife, will start us off by talking about their recent success with an innovative use of online petitions---an Earthday Virtual March that brought in over 100,000 signatures in a relatively short period of time. We'll explore the pros and cons with Jeff and talk about what this means for the future of organizing efforts and tech development.

(3) NEW SPACE: We have a private area all to ourselves at a great new bar called the Science Club on 19th and M (1136 19th St) -- look for us upstairs. Should be much easier to hear one another this time.

As always, these NetSquared meetups are a chance for us to talk about the future intersection of tech innnovation and social change -- and to meet others interested in working on these issues and establish new connections.

See you on Wed night -- bring anyone who you think should join us!
