Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and create complex and sophisticated solutions utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer 2007 as well as various other .NET components
• Provide client organizations with extensive SharePoint experience, insight, and consultancy services
• Provide guidance in all areas of the application lifecycle including: requirements engineering, project planning and management, architecture and design for service oriented architecture, development patterns and practices, software configuration management, testing and quality assurance, as well as deployment & operations
• Successfully initiate, deliver, implement, and support Microsoft SharePoint installations
• Support the delivery of comprehensive consultancy services, including supporting the work of colleagues
• Work with the Adventos team to strengthen the company, develop existing client relationships and identify and develop new business opportunities
• This is not a traveling consultant position with focus in the Washington DC area. Travel is expected to be less than 25% on average.

Required Professional Qualifications
• Minimum of BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field
• Professional certification(s) in SharePoint administration and/or development such as SharePoint TS or MCPD. Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, as well as ASP.NET 3.0, C#, XML, IIS. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with BizTalk Server, CRM, SQL Server Analysis Services, and PerformancePoint.
• Demonstrable track record of managing people, projects and change in public sector organizations
• Minimum 5 years of SharePoint Administration experience
• Minimum 5 years of SharePoint Development experience
• Minimum 2 years of Technical Training or Public Speaking
• At least 5 years of .NET development
