Guildmaster, Rapid Deployment Team - Lieutenant

Organizer since:

July 22, 2008

Are you are looking for us to help you join or create a regular gaming group? What is your availability?

Have more than enough trouble running my own games and the Meetup.

What RPG games/systems do you prefer? Are there any games you are interested in trying out or playtesting?

Eberron ADnD 3.5 at the moment, Dabbling in DnD 4e. Have Savage Worlds, Paranoia and some others with me. Also played Space/Rolemaster, Warhamer and lots more since becoming an organiser.

On a scale of rules complexity/depth with 1 being rules-light and 10 being rules-heavy, how 'crunchy' do you like a roleplaying rules system to be?

As a player - don't care as long as its fun and fair. As a GM, it depends on how well i know the system as to how much slack i need to cut.

Do you feel able to be the GM/DM for a regular group, or GM a one-off game at a Meetup?

Not at the Meetups. I prefer to give others the opportunity to DM/GM. It gives me the chance play once in a while :)

Have you ever been a GM/DM (GameMaster/DungeonMaster)? If so what systems did/do you run?

Yes. For a few years now with my regular group.

As Guildmaster, my job is to help people learn to play, to have fun, and to give other gamers a chance to get a game. We made this meetup to game with friends that could not play regularly with any more, and meet new gamers from all over the world.
