Our next topic will be data mapping tools and their uses in the third sector.

We'll have a number of presentations on how data visualisation tools can help good causes evidence need, spot gaps, illustrate reach, and help target delivery of services.

There are lots of free / low cost tools we can use + open data we can access to map alongside our own. Come and find out more!

Speakers include:

• Rachel Bowes - Tableau Foundation. Rachel works for Tableau in London where she spends her time helping people see and understand data. With an MSc in GIS and previous experience at a GIS software company, she is a true map-lover and has a key interest in using data to help solve the world's problems.

• Drew Mackie - Drew will introduce us to network maps and how you can visualise and analyse networks of people and organisations using kumu.io

• Sophie Robson - Humanitarian Open Street Map. Sophie is an expert in emergency/disaster response and has been a volunteer for two years on the MSF Missing Maps Project. Her most recent focus is mapping remote areas of rural Tanzania to facilitate anti-FGM outreach work by the Tanzania Development Trust. She will be showing us to get started contributing to or creating your own humanitarian mapping project.
