Good Trouble Lives On: A National Day of Nonviolent Action and Community Care “When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have a moral obligation to do something about it.” — Congressman John Lewis

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, people across the country will unite to carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble. This is a day of moral clarity, courageous resistance, and collective action in response to the growing attacks on our civil and human rights. From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration continues its efforts to silence and divide.
We know the truth. In America, the power belongs to the people. We are rising together to make that truth visible.
This is more than a protest. It is a moral reckoning. It is a continuation of the movement Congressman Lewis helped to lead, and it is a renewed front in the ongoing struggle for justice and freedom.
