Nevada Film Alliance Pages

NFA connects Nevada's film communities with film opportunities,
through education, networking, funding* and project sponsorship.

Filmmaking is an ensemble affair, not solitaire.
The NFA is all about positive results from team efforts.

The Nevada Film Alliance was conceived in 2002 as a sort of central radar system, tracking links to everything related to indigenous filmmaking in Nevada. We've tried to stay on top of all the activity but activity is going wild, it seems. Hard to keep up with it all. That's why we like active members who actual help keep things fresh.

Meanwhile, we are finding ways to connect our film community's various moving parts for greater progress toward the whole, the goal being a lucrative film export market. This NFA MeetUp site is a non-competitive, volunteer-based, respectfully open filmmaking forum and resource. We admire professionalism and integrity.

When you join, you will gain access to our list of resources, events, commentary and reviews. In return, your good input to this site should help keep it maintained, meaningful and bring about more success in Nevada filmmaking.

The mission of the NFA (see official wording at is to help filmmakers make great films and to help them learn how to make money from those films. Filmmakers with funded budgets are more attractive to get the best talent. For aspiring and working filmmakers, the NFA is here for you as a resource and tool. For actors and actresses, the NFA wants to create more paid working opportunities for you, including opportunities to meet and train with filmmakers. For crew and creative types, the NFA wants to expand opportunities for you, too, to train and work on all sizes of gigs.

Our industry mixers and sponsored educational meet-ups are opportunities for you to do something for your career. By working together, the entire film community in Nevada can build commercial success, one local film at a time. More progress to come.
