Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary is a gem. Join us for a hike 3-4 miles which includes a boardwalk which allows you to follow along the edge of a Marsh for a great view of turtles, fish, muskrats, and great blue herons.
An expansive retreat along Indian Brook and the Charles River, Broadmoor is an ever-changing environment teeming with wildlife: dragonflies darting, turtles basking, otters leaving tracks in the mud or snow, and more than 150 species of birds. Easy-to-rugged well-groomed trails lead you through the shade of mature woodlands into open fields and along the edges of vibrant streams, ponds, and marshland. One trail brings you out to the Charles River.
We will meet in parking lot.
