Fremont Solstice Day Parade Saturday
Hands-down the most creative, crazy day of the year is the day of the Fremont Solstice Day parade. While it features musical troops & various floats, it is most famous for starting off with 200-some nude painted bicyclists. It must be seen to be believed, so come and see for yourself!
This is a purely socializing so we'll be gathering along the parade route to hang-out with each other. You are free to stay together or wander as much as you like--- it's a bit of a free-for-all.
your most excellent self, a camera, a folding chair if you want one, water, and sunscreen.
To find us, meet at the intersection of N Stone Way and N 34th at 2pm, parade officially starts at 3pm, and festivities afterwards continue throughout the day at Gas Works Park. Call my cell phone if you're late to find out where we are.
Hope to see you there!
