The Nashville New & Not-So-New In Town Meetup Pages

We'd love to have you join us at a New in Town Meetup to mingle with other new and not-so-new locals. Count on exciting activities, fun people and a variety of events. It's a great way to meet people and see more of Nashville. You may walk in not knowing anyone but you'll feel like you are among old friends in no time flat.

Check out the calendar of future events and RSVP for those that interest you.

Here are some photos that were taken at past events:

Please try to be fair & have the score reflect both the venue and the efforts involved in planning. The organizers/hosts of this group happily volunteer many hours of their time to researching, networking, and planning a variety events for everyone to enjoy. We love to have a good time too, and we truly believe in the benefits of the group. Thank you for being a part of it!

A profile picture helps everyone to recognize each other.

We love to see everyone at events. However, if you are not able to attend, please be considerate and adjust your RSVP accordingly. Neglecting to change your response may eliminate the opportunity for someone else to attend if they are on the waiting list. Plus, when people don't show up, our credibility with the venue deteriorates & it hinders our ability to negotiate special deals. If you RSVP yes & do not attend, then you risk being bumped from a future event if others are on the waiting list. Hope you understand that when space is limited, we want to reward those who show up.

We would love to accommodate everyone. However, we need to make sure the group size is manageable. Plus, there may be occasions where the establishments may have limited space or reservation maximums.

  • Take a quick look of the list of attendees before each event. It helps to know faces & names. Consider reading a little about each member; you may find you have something in common smile

  • Talk Talk Talk - Introduce yourself to other members...yes, it is hard sometimes and takes a lot of courage, but I guarantee that breaking that ice will help. If you're not an extrovert, don't worry..the organizers are all very good about introducing everyone and facilitating conversation.

I didn't think that we'd have to post anything like this. However, negative, rude, disrespectful or outrageous behavior whether verbal or written will not be tolerated. None of our members or organizers should ever feel uncomfortable. We are all here to have a good time in an enjoyable environment. If any member instigates the aforementioned acts, we reserve the right to give remove & block that member from the group. It's simple, just treat everyone with respect and have fun. THANKS!
