What activities or events would you like to see the group offer?

Hiking, canoeing, camping, boating, fishing, etc. maybe some instructional events? - I know that Wildlife and Fisheries does presentations to groups on all kinds of related subjects. Even a group trip to Bass Pro could be fun.

What is your occupation? Area of study? (if applicable) Dream job? (money aside)

Communications/Marketing. I'd like to go into something related to being outdoors. I am a Master Gardener, so landscapergardening appeals to me. I would love something with Wildlife and Fisheries, Park Service or Forestry., etc.

What are you a nerd about? (Interests/Hobbies)

Flowers/Plants. I read Plant books for fun. Not just the designing of beds, but the listing of the plants and different species. very geeky. Also, starting to become a bird geek.

What are your favorite places to camp or hike or to be active outdoors?

I like the Homochitto Forest in Mississippi. Clear Springs, and nearby camp and hike sites there. also Kasatchie in LA. Am looking forward to exploring new places this fall.

How did you become interested in the outdoors?

Family. My parents and extended family are all outdoor people. My mom was my biggest influence, she was a true naturalist, and a wonderful nature photographer.

I love the outdoors, nature, going on adventures. I am into hiking, camping/cabin trips, nature photography, canoeing, being on the water, biking, just anything and all things outdoors.
