How did you hear about our MeetUp group?

My husband found this group online when we were doing our initial search on info about Boston Terriers.

How did you decide to get a Boston Terrier?

I needed an emotional support dog & after tons of research on the breed I knew they were the 1 for me. Not only are they cute & full of personality I have learned how attentive, smart, quiet and awesome they are! There was no other choice for me! I had to actually fight for my right to attain permission to acquire a "medical dog" in my no dog neighborhood. They discriminated against me despite all the laws & medical information from my doctors. I suffer from several invisible disabilities seizures, asthma, 2 rare eye auto immune diseases that can take my vision away any time they flare, 3 heart arrhythmia's one was recently 80% fixed in a cardiac ablation surgery. I also have a very rare syndrome called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) it affects my entire nervous system it makes me very sick & weak but worst of all it makes my anxiety really really bad. Thanks 2 the state I won in court for my right to have my little beauty at home. She's already helped tons!

What's your BT's name....and nicknames?

Sometimes we call her a "little skunk" bc her little white patch makes her look like one.

Proud mom of Imani (Swahili for hope & faith( she was born 10/17/11. She is my service dog as I have a few invisible disabilities. Our adventure w/her started Jan.1st 2012 & it has been an amazing one. It's beyond rewarding!
