In the chain of "baous" the Saint-Jeannet is distinguished by the exceptional size of its limestone face well known to all the climbers of the hexagon with the quality and level of its climbing routes. The assembly formed by the baou and the village of Saint-Jeannet perfectly symbolizes all Provencal art to best integrate the building into its natural environment as well as arriving at the site in the admiring during circuit, it will be captivated by this harmony between nature and the work of man. Heirs of an ancient pastoralism, ancient stone huts or cross sheep along the way as they are based in a landscape of scrub and oak interspersed with sinkholes and where there lapiés mineral element with the usual white-gray limestone karst plateaus . Dominant proudly Valley Cagne, the dungeon and the walls of Castellet, fortified house (XIV), complete their inexorable decline that began in the tragic battle of 1944.

Ok Guys - at St Jeannet, current Meteo on the ground situation is...it's been cloud cover/mist all day above the village - ie majority of the walk, and theres been on off drizzle and quite heavy showers all day . My gut feeling would be to cancel tomorrow unless we wake up to clear skies, primarily because I suspect we'll end up with the same cloud conditions. My suggestion would be postpone the same walk till next week, hence profiting from the effort to get the views. But maybe I'm just being a wussie and I'm influenced by the fact I live virtually next door to it.
Happy to go with majority decision here.

I enjoy a wide range of interests including Music, Books, Walking and giving talks to raise charity funds such as "In The Zone" the mind game of golf. yes like if its PLAY with usual degrees of tolerance no problem - Suggest to go by majority vote in parking... I'd suggest we do it in reverse...interesting ...you'll get used to me Marjie might have alerted you to fact I've got an acquired Midlands sense of humour... From St J to Fort then Baou and back down...easier not to get lost and St J to Baou is pretty steep and we've done it before - you need at least a pause or on that occassion a yoga class at the top!

Brian that sounds fine by me! Also born in the Midlands and looking forward to meeting you!
