Tammy, I have no connection, but I thought I'd let you know that from experience I've had with customer service, a letter often works best.  This can way you can succintly explain your problem and yoru requested resolution.  I'd just say

You bought the TV from Best Buy on such and such a date for such and such a price

That is was stolen on such and such a date

Though they're under no obligation to do so, as a loyal Best Buy customer, you'd appreciate it if they could extend the sale price on a replacement TV.  You might point out that your misfortune is providing them with an additional sale - clearly a loyal customer.

Provide a copy of the receipt

Provide a copy of the police report.


How much did you pay for this, if you don't mind my asking?  Would you have any interest in a 65" rear projection HDTV?  I've got one, it's a good TV, but a bit large for my apartment and I've been thinking about replacing it with plasma.  One advantage of the bigness is that no one is going to carry it off.  It would take at least 2 guys AND a truck.

If there is anyone out there that works for Best Buy or knows anyone I could use some help.

Last month I purchased online from Best Buy a larger 46" LCD TV so that we could hold Dinner and Movie Theme Nights like a few years back. Ie Italian Dinner and Under the Tuscan Sun Movies.

Along with opening the house for fitness tape workouts for small groups.

As well as Karoake on the large screen.

Unfortunately, The Grinch stopped by and STOLE this 3 week old TV. (That was all he could carry) Better security measures have already been addressed and corrected. Including not having a TV in a visible area to windows.

Does any know anyone that can get me the number for the corporate office. Being that this was an online purchase I have been passed around and on hold for hours 2 days now.

Someone suggested to talking to corporate I may be able to get at least the deal I got before.

Does anyone have any connection or even a phone number to the corporate office so perhaps I could reach someone that could help?
