43rd Annual Tremont Greek Festival
OK, they always set up a huge tent in the parking lot-Ill be setting up (http://www.meetup.com/crosscultural-49/events/108631252/#) shop in the North West corner of the tent. Ill have been there since 4 with another group so if there is any changes Ill post it on here.-Ill be wearing a yellow Kent State Tshirt and Ill look like me. It suppose to be 60-65 and sunny so pleasant enough to be outside-if the weather turns bad there is a large inside area as well. The party really doesnt start cranking for til around 8:30-9ish-but 7 will give you time to go get some Greek Food, check out one or two of the dance troupes and just generally look around. My cell is[masked] if you cant find us.
Arguably the best Cultural Festival in Cleveland, this will be the 43rd Tremont Greek Festival.
Greek Dancing and Music, with entertainment virtually every hour. But you're probably asking yourself, is this Nightlife? Well round about dark the Festival turns into a huge outdoor street party with hundreds and hundreds of people drinking, dancing (with Greek Booze and to Greek Music) and just having a great time. It'll be our 5th year going.
If you go during the day, Ill be there most of the day, try a Tour of the Church. The over 100 year old Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is one of the oldest churches in Cleveland. It’s has breath taking iconography and architecture that can only be found within a few churches in the area. The history of the icons.
Greek Food, Lots and Lots of Greek Food-and like in Every Religion, nobody cooks like Church Ladies.
And Greek Wine, Beer and Liquor.
Always A Good Time.
