not good, since 6 people were left at an intersection on the trails, and there was no sweep

OK, I will say that I am peeved by what happened on the trails today. Rodney you could have verbally told people as we were going out on the hike what route you were planning to take. And a different scenario from what did happen sits in my mind as what could have happened. The 6 people who hit an intersection could have attempted to stick together and regroup. I could have pulled out my map to see what route would seem most logical that Rodney would have been taking. But people where running in all different directions before that could take place. By the time people stayed still, and I could pull out my map there were only three of us left together. I just hope that everyone has made it out of the park by now. The good news is that there were many hikers today on the trails who could have given directions to anyone who was lost

Will regular running sneakers work? I've never been to this park and I am new to the group but I am definitely interested in checking it out.

I would not recommend sneakers since this is a more moderate/strenuous hike. Should probably wear some kind of hiking boot/shoe.
