The Ashokan Center is happy to announce on June 1st "CRISP" (Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership (http://catskillinvasives.com/?utm_source=Free+Plant+Workshop+and+June+events&utm_campaign=2013+online+registration+&utm_medium=socialshare)) will be at the new Ashokan Campus for the final installment of our partnered "native plant workshop series". The event is FREE!
Come for the entire day (or part of the day)...be sure to dress for working outside and bring your favorite invasive species removal tools if you have them!

Day and Evening Schedule:
10:00-11:30: "Managing Invasive Species at Home and Creating a Healthier Catskills Garden" with Molly Marquand, CRISP Coordinator.
11:30-2:30: "ID'ing Summer Wildflowers and Bringing them Back to the Garden" with local landscape architect and botanist, Barbara Restaino.
12:30-1:30: Delicious FREE Ashokan lunch with Chef Jill's fresh, local ingredients.
1:30-2:30: "Building Native Pollinator Gardens" with Ashokan Director of Education & Research, Kerissa Fuccillo.
2:30-5:00 -Work session removing invasive species/building pollinator gardens
5:00-6:15: Jay Ungar and Molly Mason (http://jayandmolly.com/?utm_source=Free+Plant+Workshop+and+June+events&utm_campaign=2013+online+registration+&utm_medium=socialshare) will be playing music and hosting squares, contras and couple dances in the Main Lodge. Come out and dance to celebrate the day!
6:30-7:00: Chef Jill's delicious soup made with fresh local, local ingredients.
