Heya All!

Saturday, November 2nd will be's annual Game-a-thon, benefiting the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.  It's a big day of gaming and good will, as you simply donate to the network (or bring cash on the day of play) and you can game all day.  Wild Pig Comics has donated its play space for the entire day to anyone willing to make a donation.

I am also personally helping out by volunteering myself (and possibly a couple of others if need be) to run an Halloween themed 5th Edition D&D game, starting at 7pm, ending somewhere around 11pm.  We have a couple of DM's capable of running this, so don't hesitate to show up!  New players are welcome, and pre-made characters will be provided if you can't make one.  This is a stand-alone adventure so you won't get any gold or experience for the new campaign starting in adventure, but...

That's right, I can't technically give you an in-game reward, but let's just say we have a special certificate planned for everyone who attends, keyed to the "Children's Miracle Network".

You can click this link to donate:

Bill Ellis (the Store Manager who asked us to participate) set a low goal of $200, which I think we can blow away.  Donate a couple of bucks and show up and game on!  Hopefully we'll see everyone for this special event!  Here's a description of the adventure:

Curse of the Murder-Pumpkin

Bauldarians have endured a lot of suffering in recent years, due to the loss of their heroes and rebirth of the deity of murder, Bhaal.  But the fine citizens of Baulder's Gate will not let their spirits wane - they have decided to throw a harvest festival on the new moon.  What can possibly go wrong?  A stand-alone adventure for 1st level characters using the D&D Next ruleset, set in the Forgotten Realms city of Baulder's Gate.  New Players are welcome.  Written by Jeremy Jordan.
