Dinner & Drinking Rationally...and a Show!

Come meet other area secular humanists, atheists and freethinkers for witty and intelligent conversation. If you don't drink, you won't be the only one! Join the fun!

Mamma Flora's in Ewing (in the corner of the Shop Rite shopping center) has good food and live music that starts at 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. This is a BYOB restaurant. If you have a special meal request, they're good about accommodating you. If we build up to a big group, they have a private room we can reserve.

After dinner, we have the option of going over to the Kelsey Theatre to see the 8:00 p.m. performance of Avenue Q being produced by (Diana & John) Maurer Productions OnStage.  Tickets are $18 adults, $16 seniors, $14 students & children, $7 MCCC Students w/current ID.  NOTE: The show is rated "Shocking Pink for Adult content."  Get details and purchase tickets at the link below. We won't be able to get seats all together at this late date, so go ahead and get the best seats you can.

Whoa! that was close! The bad idea bears encouraged me to quit NJHN! I told them no way!

The food was okay and the service was lousy and i too don't like live music at these events. I want to meet and chat.

The food was good, the service was lousy, the company was wonderful (as always), and the show Avenue Q was fantastic! I'm not sure the live music is working for our goal of getting together for good conversation. Seems to depend on the music. Should we try another restaurant or start earlier, try to get two full hours before the music starts at 6pm?

10 years sober so no drinking for that ok? Will I fit in?

You sure will, Gail! There are only a few wine/beer drinkers in the group and the rest of us are sober and permanently designated drivers. Just bring your sense of humor and we'll make you feel like we've known you forever!
