We are monitoring the situation around the COVID-19, so this meetup might be converted to a virtual one.
The Global AI On Tour is a free event organized across the world in April and May by local communities that are passionate about artificial intelligence on Microsoft Azure.

High-accuracy prediction of raw material prices using deep learning models
An international plastic pipe supplier wanted to have a solution that could help their procurement management team to better predict raw plastic prices for the near future. They can use these valuable insights in their contract negotiation with suppliers. The solution provided is based on accurate data collection and applying LSTM (Long Short Term Memory model).
As we cannot disclose client data during this talk we will go through the process of selecting and collecting data, compare several methods used for price forecasting including time-series data analysis, machine learning and deep learning methods and discuss the results of applying those methods on the open-source market price dataset.
