Cheers AIC! It's Wednesday... and Wednesday means almost weekend!! We meet at 1830, just right after work to have a couple of drinks and socialize with other international friends. The right activity to warm up for a mid week event! :-) AIC is a community of expats. Some of us are regulars, some are new in town and some others are locals just willing to meet international people. A melting pot of cultures in a bar, where everyone is welcome. The important is willing to socialize while enjoying a drink. Come, join our beautiful community! I am sure you will have a lot of fun! Hey AIC Members! We're getting classy after a Vondelpark run! Every last Thursday of the month we will meet at 20:00 inside Rayleigh & Ramsay which is close to Vondelpark. You can safely leave your belongings at there if needed. We will run around Vondelpark. 1 loop around the park is 3.3K. You can choose to do 1 loop or 2 and we will all meet back at the wine bar to enjoy some wine (beer also available) and snacks! We run at a easy pace together...no one left behind! Hello AIC! Yes you read well, this time our super popular weekend meetup will take place in an unusual location: the Auditorium of the Generator next to the Oosterpark! When I saw this place I fell in love with it and immediately decided that I had to organize an expats meetup here. The Generator hostel is a beautiful location, once it was a school and few years ago it has been converted to a nice hostel. They managers of the hostel they had the beautiful idea of converting the Auditorium of the school in a big cool bar that extends on different levels where people can hang out in a special atmosphere. As soon as you will see this place I am sure you will love it at first sight as it has been for me! Beside being in a beautiful location, our events are a great opportunity to meet and socialize with other international people in Amsterdam. Our events are generally crowded. When you join us you will meet new members that are in town since just a couple of weeks, members that are part of our community from years that are joining us to see other members who became friends and in the mean time mean new faces with who potentially develop a nice friendship. Abracadabra AIC! I would like to introduce you the Amsterdam Magic Show! I met this guys when their concept was still an embryo. They started hosting their events at the Paleis van de Weemoed and from the beginning I was enthusiastic to cooperate with them. Luckily for them, their show have always been sold out so it was difficult to partner up, but now they moved to Boom Chicago, a much bigger theater that can gather much more visitors.
