Looking to reduce your stress level? Seeking a way to find more focus & rest? Whatever the reason is you became interested in mindfulness and regardless of your experience, you're welcome to join this group.
My name is Francisco, I'm a mindfulness teacher and founder of Amsterdam Mindfulness. Curiosity towards life, that's what mindfulness is about for me. Curiosity is an attitude that creates positive energy. Curiosity helps you looking past labels and judgements. It helps to see and enjoy the richness of life.
These are the activities in this group:
1.Explore Meditation (every week, donation-based) - here we explore all kinds of meditations, like Osho-dynamic meditations.
2.Mindfulness Meditation (every week, donation-based) - here we do more 'traditional' mindfulness meditations like the bodyscan and moving meditations.
3.Starting your Mindfulness practice (every 2 weeks, 10€) - here mindfulness concepts & meditations are explained. You have the opportunity to share your experiences and possible challenges with the group.
4.Workshops about specific themes (for example self-compassion, grounding & centering, High Sensitivity, relationships).

* About me
I'm Francisco. A life long experience with restlessness and overthinking brought me to mindfulness. When I did my first 8-weeks mindfulness course, I felt frustrated and bored and thought that mindfulness is not for me. When I started doing the mindfulness teacher training however, I learned that I myself and people like me could benefit a great deal from mindfulness. I'm also a coach & psychologist.
