Sunday Cooking Class with Chef Nadia: Easter Bread Mazanec

Wat we doen

Under the guidance of our resident master cook, Chef Nadia, you will spend Sunday afternoon preparing and subsequently enjoying a traditional Easter fruit bread Mazanec (MAH-zah-netz, pictured).

Nadia will teach you how to make the dough, shape the Mazanec, and bake it to perfection just like your mother used to. We will be sampling the final product we make together, fresh from the oven, with a cup of coffee or tea with friends and family. All are welcome.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, 3/14/2018 and indicate if you want to attend as a student. If you only want to order your homemade bread to go, please RSVP and select "Mazanec Take-out" and number of breads.

Nadia offers one additional item you can pre-order for a take-out: Meatloaf with potato salad.

Serious interest only due to space limitations - 12 students. If interested, please RSVP by Wednesday, 3/14/18, online, by replying to this email, or with Mirek at[masked]. For students, the fee of $45 includes a mazanec. To-go orders are $20 per mazanec.
