  • 7pm, Tues Feb 28 - Gauteng WordPress Meetup at the Plantation Cafe, Midrand

What: February 28, 2017 Meetup for Gauteng WordPress Network! When 7:00 PM - Tuesday, February 28, 2017 Where Plantation Cafe, Midrand. Corner New Road and 6th Road - next to the Jeep Dealership and across the road from the Shell petrol station. [masked] The home of great pizzas! Hi everybody.. 2017 is rolling along and I've noticed that many of you are busy - so you must all be making excellent websites!? This is our second meetup for 2017. Our guest speaker last month was Steve Stapelburg whose Elementor presentation left us all with a new sense of creativity. I for one, still rely on templates but I can see where I can cut my design time at least by 50% and still end up with a better looking site. This month we decided to have an open session where WordPress users can come through, hangout and ask whatever questions or comments they want to make in order that they can get their sites going. I note with interest that the number of questions about the business and sustainability of the websites are in some cases, surpassing the amount of questions regarding the technical process or tips and tricks about the site itself. The lesson here is that there are several components to running a site - building the site, marketing the site and generating enough revenue so you can build the next one. We have experieinces to share.. Lets talk...
