Wat we doen

A new group for ladies 30 + looking to make new friends who want to socialise and meet like minded local friends. The group is open to all, meets ups will be based Holywood, City Centre or East Belfast.

Events: dinner, restaurants, pub lunch, cinemas, walks, occasional night out, theatre, bar, pubs and more! Highly likely not to be "nights out out" to clubs/the early hours but more evenings out to bar or pub. Likely to be weekends or weekdays evenings. I am open to suggestions and happy to let members host their own events. Meet ups will be small approx 6-10 people, so people can easily get to know each other. Please feel free to use the discussion board if there something you would like to do or last minute meet up i.e "anyone round tonight and fancy doing something".

For more formal meet ups which required a table bookings or ones that require time to organise (i.e day trips/afternoon tea) there will be a small meet up fee of approx £1.50 to goes towards meetup costs. Causal meet ups will be free but do let host know asap if you change your mind.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

I have ran events through a women's group in London, so I would just like to set some boundaries, expectations and clear purpose for group and how it will be run.

Purpose: fun, friendship, good times and happy vibes :-)

Joining Requirements: Females only, with a clear first name and clear profile picture (i.e. a clear shot of your face, no sunglasses, no filters and just you in the photo). This is to make sure the host and others can recognise you at meetups :-). These will be reviewed regularly and people will be removed, if not meet.

Please note that this meet up is run for social purposes and done voluntary, and will be run stress and drama free. Organizers/Hosts have no responsibility for those who come to meet ups/events. Please make sure you read meet up details before RSVPing - including things like menus, you are happy with prices, you know how to get there, how to get home, can get home, you have the funds to pay, safe info, start & finish times etc...all those kind of little things :-)

If you fancy hosting that would be fab but I would like to meet up with you first and have a chat on the phone to see how you would like to get involved etc...I will ask the hosts to make sure they are on time for there events, ensuing they introduce themselves and others, welcome and great all members when they arrive. However once a meet up has started I wouldn't expect organizers/hosts to check for messages/posts say after 20mins of meet up start time (they are there to relax and enjoy themselves also). If you are going be late or cant get there on the start time let them know in good time :-).

Just a wee personal bit of info about me I work full time M-F office hours. I have to head back to London for work every 8 weeks (at times this could be short notice). I am currently studying two evenings a week until November (tues/wed). I am also in the process of setting up my Personal Training business (I am busy little bee). So if I host meet ups these will be at the mo on a mon, thurs, fri, weekends, how often I really don't know. I will get back to joining requests/messages etc as soon as possible.

Lastly - Please note the fee is non refundable and does not go to Meet Up but to organizer to help pay for the monthly subscription fee for £25 for group. Any profit will be reinvested into the group. Upon clicking "RSVP", meetup redirects you to Paypal to complete your reservation. If meet ups required tickets to be purchased etc...there may additional cost or members might need to buy there own tickets pending the type of meet up.

Any questions please ping me a message :-)

Real Magic at the Mac

The MAC

Real Magic creates a world of absurd disconnection, struggle and comical repetition. To the sound of looped applause and canned laughter, three performers take part in an impossible illusion – part mind-reading feat, part cabaret act, part nightmare game show – in which they are thrown back, again and again, to moments of hope and defeat. Caught in a world of second-chances and second-guesses, variations and changes, distortions and transformations, Real Magic takes the audience on a hallucinatory journey, creating a compelling virtuoso performance about big systems, small traps and yearning for change. Post-Show Talk: Tues 22 October. Presented as part of Belfast International Arts Festival 2019. *Concession tickets are for those aged 16 and under, over 60s, students, the unemployed, and disabled persons. Proof of status may be required.
