Rookie Nook: Pros & Cons of Paying Off Assets

San Miguel Mexican Grill & Bar

If you're a Rookie Investor who hasn't yet "pulled the trigger" or just getting started, you'll enjoy this friendly group that gets together to network, share projects and learn from each other. Rumors of a coming recession are rampant. While we are fairly insulated from any potential damage in NWA, recessions offer many opportunities for investors. One question savvy investors are asking is whether it makes sense to pay off your mortgages or keep your cash in hand for better opportunities in a volatile market? Brian Fleming is an accountant with Vantine Barrett & Van Winkle, CPAs, a tax specialist and an investor. He helps small businesses use Quickbooks to keep track of their investments. He says he's been researching this question for a while for his own properties. Brian will talk about four things to consider when considering what action to take: Personal goals Expectation of roi Comfort level with risk Impact of choice over time Join us for a lively discussion about how to position yourself to maximize your resources for NWA's booming market and take advantage of any future recession ~ real or rumored. While you're at it, enjoy a great meal with us at San Miguels. See you there.
