Wat we doen

Welcome to the Roanoke Robotics & Makers Club.

We build robots, gadgets, costumes, inventions, games, just about anything.... we hold friendly competitions & workshops ... we learn from each other... and we have a lot of fun!

We meet at the South County Library in Roanoke, Virginia, usually on the first Saturday of each month, at 10-11AM for the club meeting.

The club meeting includes introductions, meet & greet, show and tell, Q&A, share best practices and topic discussions, and feedback what the club could do together. Its also a chance to practice presentation skills in a friendly coaching style atmosphere.

11AM-12PM is the club's short program presentation, open to the public as well as club members. The program usually consists of an interactive hands on a STEM topic of interest.

Please check the schedule of meetings and events. There are no regular meetings during the summer June, July, and August, but we still attend and participate in community events.

The robotics club is for everyone... adults, families, and kids of all ages.

If you like to build, design, hack, modify, learn about & share robotics & other exciting technologies, you'd enjoy our group!

We look forward to seeing you at our events!
