With rapid advancements in Voice and Ai the world of UX and UI is changing. Only a decade ago the concept of AI, chatbots and voice commerce would have seemed like a futuristic concept. One estimate says that by 2020, customers will manage 85% of their relationship with a company without interacting with a human.

Join us as we sit down for another fantastic evening of theoretical insight, case studies and networking as we discuss, UX and UI, Voice and Interfaces in non stationary environments.

We'll be joined by:

Cansu Dengiz - UX Researcher - Knab

Bob van Iersel - UX Designer - Etergo

TALKS & DISCUSSIONS

Cansu Dengiz - UX Researcher - Knab

Cansu Dengiz is UX Researcher at Knab, an online bank, Conversational UX Designer for Voice and Founder at Brand New Town. She also writes about Voice Technology at MarketingTribune and she tries to convince everyone that Alexa will be your next best friend.

In a soon to be Voice-First world we need to think about the possibilities of voice technology today. What does it mean to design for Voice? Is it different than designing for screens? And how is it different? These questions and more will be explained through a case-study Cansu did for KRO-NCRV: the first Dutch cooking-assistant on the Google Home.

Bob van Iersel - UX Designer - Etergo

Bob is an Industrial Design Engineer, UX Designer and Team Lead at Etergo. He is responsible for the UX Design of the AppScooter's User Interface and the future companion app.

For cars, user interfaces that allow users to safely interact with their phone's features while driving, is already reaching a mature state. Can we set a new standard for two-wheeler user interfaces, where the user will have access to all of the features that you would expect from a modern car's interface, without ever compromising on safety?

This talk will give an introduction to 'Peripheral UI Design', and present the case study of the AppScooter's user interface.

Emiel Langeberg - Business Innovation Consultant - APG

Emiel Langeberg is Developer by education, UX Designer by heart and is always thinking how to level-up customer experience. He is working at APG where he is leading a voice experiment at the innovation lab with 8 years experience behind him.

New technology and interfaces are exciting for developers and designers alike. But how do you make sure that your users will be excited as well? And how do you deal with the fact that user expectation far exceeds than what is currently possible? Be immersed in a high-pace innovation journey that starts with a novel idea around voice interaction and unexpectedly ended up with a new way to think about User Research.
