TALKS & DISCUSSIONS

Pragam Rathore - Senior UX Designer - ING

At ING, Pragam is responsible for the design and strategy of ING’s product platform and various personalisation initiatives.

Through his talk he will walk us through his journey starting as a design researcher to a research focused UX designer. The crux of the talk will be on how we as designers can look beyond just data and humanise technology through inspiring user stories. He will also share some handy tips on how to inculcate a culture of research in your own process and your workplace.

Parisa Khanipour - UX Researcher and Strategist

Parisa has a dual background in human-centered design and computer science, and has previously conducted research for companies like Facebook, Intel, McDonald’s, Hema, and Status blockchain app.

In this talk, Parisa shares learnings from some of the cases she has worked on and discusses how to setup and adapt the research approach based on evolving customer and business needs to maximise impact.

Karine Cardona - Senior Analyst Customer Experience - Forrester

Karine Cardona-Smits is a senior analyst currently focused on service design and customer service. Before this she was at MOBGEN (Accenture Interactive) as a user experience and interaction design architect and then as the service design lead. She worked with clients in a variety of industries, including finance, insurance, energy, automotive, retail, and travel.

Data is more easily available than ever before, but you still need to ensure that you can build on the story you get from it. How can you make sure that the story you get from it is right?

In this talk, Karine will illustrate what you need to convert research data into actionable insights, and will reveal key factors to help you reach excellence in customer experience.
