Tui Six - Proposition Manager - Knab

Tui makes sure that all Knab propositions and product development benefit our customers. Prior to her role within Knab she has successfully implemented CX strategies as manager eCommerce (TU) and digital strategist (DEPT) to significantly increase customer loyalty and sales. This talk will detail the lessons learned: how to effectively use customer collaboration in proposition and product development?

Mohit Yadav - UX Researcher - Uber

Mohit is a UX Researcher working at Uber, helping craft Uber’s magical payment experience. In the past, Mohit worked as a researcher at Design Research Lab in Berlin where academically he focussed on the mixed methods approach.

Brittney Reyes - Sr. UX Researcher - Booking.com

Brittney has spent the last 9 years working in Silicon Valley for companies like Google and Pinterest and recently relocated to Amsterdam to join Booking.com. She primarily focuses on driving strategy with early-stage, foundational research; helping to shape the development and execution of global traveler experiences.

This talk will explore the role of research in helping to facilitate data-driven design processes, look at the process of how to market research internally to increase engagement with, and awareness of, user findings, and to help increase the impact insights have on the product development process; driving more user-centric product thinking and development.

Naman Mathur – Money Researcher - Uber

Naman has experience working with myriad digital products with companies like Uber, Microsoft and Target. Naman worked with Uber’s emerging markets team to deliver products which helped unlock the next wave of hundreds of millions of riders in emerging markets like the Indian Subcontinent, Brazil, Mexico, the Middle East, and Africa.

How do you design products that transcend the boundaries of language, digital literacy, age, and infrastructure and yet stay true to local nuances and constructs to drive comfort and delight among users. In fact, can this be the way the design process evolves?

In this talk, Naman will present our journey of designing a truly accessible product - Uber Lite. He will share the playbook to approaching design for the emerging markets and the new set of users who are experiencing the internet for the first time.
