Join us for Spoorloos (The Vanishing), a Dutch thriller from 1988 by George Sluizer, a nailbitingly tense report of a sudden disappearance and its impact on those left behind. On a holiday in the south of France Rex loses sight of his girlfriend Saskia at a gas station. She disappears without a trace, leaving Rex to wonder what happened for years. What happens next is a bizarre unravelling of events as Rex is approached by Saskia's kidnapper.
