In this free online study program, we will be studying the "Dive into Deep Learning" (https://d2l.ai/index.html) book by Aston Zhang, Zack C. Lipton, Mu Li, and Alex J. Smola. Every week we will teach (remotely) a portion of the book and assign take-home exercises and reading materials.
In this third session of our "Dive into Deep Learning" study program, we will begin to look at linear neural networks which provide a great introduction to some of the most fundamental concepts in deep learning.
There will be a short presentation followed by a code walkthrough. There will be a segment for discussion and Q&A at the end of the discussion.
All study sessions will be free and fully-remote. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGSHbNsNO4ViFXawDmx-kEz7zGziOpNSb).
