This meetup is for those who are trying to become a better person and to help with balancing their body, mind and soul through meditation, spending time in nature hiking, kayaking and having fun.
We all have our good days and bad days, desires and wants, regrets and fears but by practising kindness, gratitude and forgiveness we can strive to be a better person and grow spiritually.
Meditating in an enclosed space like a hall is great but wouldn't it be much more enjoyable and beneficial if we practised it outdoors? Imagine instead meditating on a beach... the feeling of the sand in between your fingers and bare feet, sound of the waves, birds singing, the breeze and the warmth of the sun on you. How about lying down and meditating in a forest among the beautiful tall trees? Wouldn't you feel more grounded and one with nature? That is a meditation session I would like to be a part of.
These meetups will mainly be outdoor activities like day or multi-day hikes and may include an optional 30 minute meditation.
Meetups will be of no cost. As each of us are on our own journeys through this adventure called life. I am also on my own journey to live healthy, grow spiritually and be a better person so I would like to share this journey with similar people.
