Have you ever dreamed of being an omnipotent all-knowing god, or perhaps groveling on the ground like Gollum from Lord of the Rings? This Wednesday you will have the opportunity to be both!

This Wednesday we will explore the concept of "status". Understanding status dynamics is essential for creating compelling scenes, as it shapes character interactions and drives the narrative forward. In this workshop, you’ll explore how to effectively convey status through body language, voice, and choices, enhancing your improvisational skills and boosting your confidence on stage. Get ready to unleash your creativity, connect with fellow performers, and discover the power of status in making your improv unforgettable!

Steve Merrick has studied and performed with Improv Boulder for several years. Currently he volunteers on the casting committee for Improv Boulder where he books all the improv teams for our shows.

This workshop will be held at The Louisville Underground (inside Tilt!, under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.
