I see node.js as the path forward for applications that end up with more logic on the client than the server and have a genuine need to share code between client and server.
Working on a remote object framework for node. I will be using node.js for my next project.

Very scary. Very exciting. Maybe a glimpse of the future. If it does nothing but get a bunch of people excited enough to do great things they would not have otherwise done that alone makes it worthwhile.
