This event is a cross post from the SF Autonomous Robotics Meetup group:

Feel free to join that group. I have copied the event description below:

New location! We are so grateful to the Noisebridge community for opening up a space for our meeting! "Noisebridge an anarchist hackerspace in San Francisco", and is free to all, we ask that you be excellent to each other while using this space for the meeting.

We will work on multiple autonomous robotics projects individually or in small groups. We may have guest lecturers and we can answer questions for specific projects. We can help guide you to pick a particular project of your liking. This meeting will provide you space/time where you can work on your project, ask questions or find other members to team up with!

We have beginner to intermediate projects available. You will need to purchase your own materials but we will provide the guidance.

For people who have advanced experience with robotics, a few of us are currently working on an unmanned autonomous quadcopter (drone). We have already built the hardware and are in the midst of developing the capability for a drone to move its position in space via voice/text commands!

We're not offering jobs or providing recommendations at this time for jobs, please come to learn, to participate in building robots and to have fun!
