Allen and I will be hosting 2 meditations on Saturday, May 11, as part of the first India Fest at the New Orleans Museum of Art. The first session is at 11:30am and the second session is at 2pm. Both events are free and open to the public. For more information about the festival, please see below!
Have a great weekend, wherever you meditate!
The Indian Arts Circle of New Orleans (IACNO) is dedicated to raising awareness about Indian cultural heritage, and more specifically, classical Indian music and its performers. The group collaborates to sponsor ballets, concerts, and performances in support of this mission. India Fest will be an avenue to expose New Orleans to Indian culture and foster a relationship between the city and its Indian community.
The festivities will take place on Saturday, May 11, at the New Orleans Museum of Art and will be the largest celebration of Indian culture in the state of Louisiana to date. This is a great, free way to experience and learn more about traditional and modern Indian culture. There will be kid-friendly activities, performances, dancing, craft vendors and food, among other offerings.
