Kayaking and Picnic at Yankee Lake

Yankee Lake is the largest non-motorboat, private lake in Sullivan County, 410 acres in size, where you can enjoy kayaking, swimming, and sightseeing. A feature of this lake is a small island that is home to bald eagles. Conveniently located just 90 minutes from NYC.

This is rustic picnic-ing at Yankee Lake. NO RUNNING WATER. Outhouse located on site. Fire pit, camp chairs, and tables also located on site. However, no fires permitted until May 16. Lake is a SHORT WALK from the camp site.

Grocery store nearby, or bring a prepared lunch.
