COAST TO CREST TRAIL AT SAN DIEGUITO LAGOON: EASY HIKE

According to All Trails the trails are well maintained and they are wide. Dogs are allowed on leash not off leash for this trail. There is a deck walk and educational information along the way. Keep in mind we will cross two streets and the railroad tacks so caution is advised.
It is 5.5 miles round-trip and there is a 55 ft elevation gain.
According to the All Trails the trail surface is gravel and natural dirt. The trail width is 8 feet. Parking looks like street parking and one lot that has 7 spaces available. We may want to carpool.
