Organic Raw Vegan cuisine - tasting and what's it all about?

Organic Raw Vegan tasting and mini talk

Perhaps a niche diet for some, however the Raw vegan cuisine is gaining popularity and offers the palette a new unique, fresh experience. It's not just salad in a bowl.

During the preparation of a dish the food is exposed to less than 48 degrees keeping the enzymes alive. This means a far higher level of nutrition in the food which benefits your health such as an increased mental clarity and digestive function.

For this visit to Tao cafe owner and chef, Agat Eva Mathieu, will provide taster plates for $6 each and give a short talk about the cuisine.

I've personally eaten here and have enjoyed some dishes a bit different from the normal eateries.
Additional dishes and drinks can be purchased, they have hot drinks, fresh juices and delicious deserts which are sugar free.

Tao cafe dishes are made with 100% organic ingredients, they buy from local farmers and businesses.

HOW TO FIND TAO
Through the courtyard opposite Yogapod, on West Esplanade. Within the courtyard you'll see big sign Elevator and cafe is underneath here.

Seabus: it's about 5 minute walk away.
PARKING if free in local streets after 6pm.

The food is so tasty and as Tao is open 7 days a week, often till 9pm it's an ideal venue to pop into when in the area to chat with friends, read newspaper/book/ipad. Thanks to all that did turn up, we enjoyed the evening.

Great place to eat, no wonder it is 4.5 stars in restaurant reviews.
    Let's do this again!

This will be a great event thanks for posting. The ood and juices are delicious. I have put in event limit and waitlist. You already have 18 signed up but will get cancellations etc. Once you speak to chef and find out how many they are comfortable accommodating we can change the RSVP limit.

I will speak with the chef but as you say nearer the time there will be cancellations. Wow! had no idea it would be so popular. It's a very different experience eating this food, not so much a big meal as a wholesome snack.
