  • Freaked out by something slithery peering out at you from under a moist log? Thrilled at the sight of a wriggling larvae burrowing for cover under the leaves? All shook up when something yellow and black buzzes dangerously close to your ear? Well, take a deep breath and join us for a very special class where you’ll learn to exponentially increase your senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing! Then we'll practice what to do in case of encounters with bears, wolves and mountain lions. We might even search out, identify, and safely collect some amazing critters normally overlooked.  After learning what we can, we’ll release them, unharmed, back to their homes to continue their essential active lives.

Adults as well as families with children are invited. Expect a class that provides you with generous information, hands-on experiential learning, and heart-felt inspiration. Cost is $30 per person in advance, or $35 at the door if space remains available. This class is also being offered on July 10th in Olympia, and July 24th on Lake Sammamish.
