Join us on **Thursday** (note the different weekday!) June 20th to discuss "Arcadia," by Lauren Groff.
This coming of age story follows protagonist Bit Stone from a childhood spent on a commune in the 60s and 70s through the present and into 2018. Janet Maslin wrote in the New York Times: "The raw beauty of Ms. Groff’s prose is one of the best things about 'Arcadia.' But it is by no means this book’s only kind of splendor... Ms. Groff has taken a quaint, easily caricatured community and given it true universality. [A] book that might have been small, dated and insular winds up feeling timeless and vast."
Please remember to change your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend. Happy reading!
