Film Night

Film Night is the group's monthly visit to the Broadway, Nottingham's premier arthouse cinema. We meet in the downstairs café-bar from 7pm onwards so everyone has time for a drink and a chat, to order some food if they want, and to decide which film to see. We don't always go for the same film, instead we each see which most appeals on the night and split into sub-groups.

If you want to eat, have a look at the combined 'Broadway Bite' ticket and meal deal, details of which are on the Broadway website café page. You might also consider becoming a Broadway member, for cheaper tickets and other offers; forms are available from the booking desk. If you're on the Orange mobile network you can do 'Orange Wednesday' and get two tickets for the price of one: ask around to see who you can buddy up with. You must be seeing the same film as whoever you share the Orange Wednesday offer with and if you are both Broadway members then you can combine your member discount with the Orange offer.

After the films we go back to the bar for a final drink and a chat - maybe discuss the relative merits of what we've just seen?

The choice of films showing on the evening is listed on the Broadway website What's On page; also if you're a Broadway member you are sent the brochure every month.

Discount parking in Fletcher Gate
If you hadn't heard yet, Broadway are now offering their customers 4 hours parking in Fletcher Gate car park for the fantastic price of £3. When you go into your film, keep the ticket stub that the staff tear off and return to you. When you return to Fletcher Gate, go to the Customer Service desk on Level 3 and give the staff there your car park entry ticket and your Broadway stub. Pay them £3 and they'll give you the ticket to use at the exit barrier. Simples!

I've got the same concern :) I've got long dark hair and I'm wearing a black down jacket if that helps?

All that time off work has completely confused my brain and I forgot it was even Wednesday today! Film Night was also missing from my calendar for this month for some reason which didn't help either... I will be there for a drink and a chat in the bar at 7pm as usual but I'll need to leave at 8pm as I have a minor schedule clash due to my aforementioned lack of calendar awareness this week! See you all later :)

The Impossible or Safety Not Guaranteed would be my preferences, though Life of Pi is beautiful.
