Car/Bus Ramble: Moorgreen Reservoir and Woods

What we will do: Arrive by 10.15am for 10.30am start from: Reubens Garden Centre car park. Description of Walk: 5/6 miles. Easily-accessible paths. Suitable for all skill levels. This trail travels beside the picturesque Moorgreen Reservoir. It's a great path for walking, jogging and cycling and you are afforded lovely views of the lake and surrounding woodland. Lunch at the garden centre.

Direction by car: Reuben’s Garden Centre, 121 Moorgreen, Nottingham NG16 2FF - SK484479, What 3 Words – defensive.exams.spires Directions by Bus: From Nottingham get the tram to Phoenix Park Tram Terminus and get the 528 bus at Phoenix Park Interchange at 9.20am to arrive at Moorgreen, Willey Lane, Nursery Stop at about 9.35am. The bus journey is 15 minutes. However, buses only every two hours.

Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

Non-walkers are invited to join us for lunch. Please advise the organiser in advance.
What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
