What we’re about
This group is open to all ages and aims to organise a variety of events that appeal to a wide range of interests. If you live in or near Nottingham and want to meet new friends and have some fun days and nights out then do join us. I can promise you will meet some great people, make new friends and enjoy yourself.
We have strong links with Nottingham Gig Buddies and Nottingham Culture & Café Scientifique, with whom we share many members; so why not join as many as you like and have a packed social calendar!

TRANSPORT - Skylink between Nottingham and the airport runs every 20 minutes until 18:35 then hourly after. Main bus station is almost opposite the Castle Inn

Meet around 10:45 for 11:00 Start
A dead flat route, starting out at the car park on the North East of the castle grounds. Circling the top half before heading out the west exit and joining the path alongside the river Derwent.
Crossing the fields to the small village of Ambaston we head down the lane to Thulston. At the 5 mile point we will take a half hour break at the Harrington Arms pub.
Then back into the castle grounds to the start point. Optional coffee and cake after.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT (from Nottingham)
Bus I4 leaves from stop Y4 (near premier inn) at 9:28 and arrives at Victoria avenue in Borrowash. It’s a 1.1 mile walk to the carpark from the bus stop. If coming from the other direction the Skylink stops at a similar distance away.
