Reminder: NoVA UX Meetup Next Wednesday, Dec 19th at 7pm

From: Jim L.
Sent on: Monday, December 10, 2012 9:26 AM

Hi everyone,

There are still seats available for our next NoVA UX meetup on Dec 19th at 7pm, "Mobile Apps - HTML5 vs Native Code". Come join us for some mobile inspiration before your holiday break? I'm still looking for a food sponsor; if anyone would like to get a special shout-out Wednesday night please drop me an email at [address removed].

Here are the event details for next week:

For our December meetup, MobilePosse will be giving a talk on mobile development UX, with a focus on their experience using HTML5 vs native code in their apps.

Mobile Posse has been creating applications and content embedded on hundreds of phones to millions of consumers over numerous carriers since 2005. They have developed their own proprietary platform to deliver messages and media to the idle screens of phones. With Android and IOS Mobile, Posse is creating applications that can reach consumers through these channels as well. In doing so, the company decided to also build a more open application using HTML5, and the results were... well, you'll have to join the Meetup to learn more...

As always, there will be lively Q&A throughout!

6:30-7:00: Refreshments

7:00-7:15: Introductions

7:15-8:00: Mobile Posse talk

8:00-8:15: Announcements

8:15-8:45: Networking

Beverages will be provided by AddThis.

But wait, there's more...

I've also scheduled our first meetup of 2013, where yours truly will be talking about Product Testing and Data-informed Design:

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
