The Ride : Detail
******************
For your riding pleasure, NoVA CBG presents Waters End Bike & Brewery Ride. Lets enjoy these cooler September days with a casual Beginner(+) Level ride that starts and ends at Waters End Brewery.

This 23 mile loop takes place partially on the Prince William Parkway bike trail but does involve some road riding. This is a nice casual flat ride with one hill just challenging enough to make us feel like we earned a beer after climbing it. Did I mention there is a brewery at the end? There is plenty of parking in Dillingham square and we will meet right in front of the brewery to do our brief bike check and "the speech".

The ride itself will proceed down Prince William Parkway onto the all purpose trail and cross onto Hoadly Rd. There is a marked bike lane on Hoadly Rd. that we will follow until the end where there is a convenience gas station. We will stop here and fill up on fluids or use the restrooms. We will then proceed onto the bike path until we reach Spriggs Rd. Once we are on Spriggs Rd I always stop at the marker in front of Saunders Middle school. It indicates where a cyclist lost his life do to a car jumping the curb. We will then proceed back to Hoadly Rd. and continue onto Prince William Parkway to complete our loop.

There will be cue sheets available. This is a good opportunity to hone your cue sheet reading skills or follow the .gpx file that I will supply if you have a Garmin.
