Let's paint this town PINK! This ride is a really fun MEDIUM MINUS ride. It involves a lot of street riding (hence Medium), but at a beginner pace (hence Minus).

This year we are doing it AFTER the Army 10 miler so no worries on that conflict.

Please read further for all the glorious details!!

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF):
CBG's Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) donation link:

Although we never charge people to ride any of our CBG rides we are known for "Ride Your Bike, Do Good Things" so we are asking that you consider donating to BCRF as making a difference is the main goal of this ride! Our goal this year is to raise $5,000. Please help us make this happen.

It would be great if you let your family and friends know that you are doing this ride and share the link with them so they too can help fight this fight!

Please donate whatever you see fit! BCRF has an excellent charity rating as well as a powerful mission "Working to achieve a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime." Thank you very much in advance for considering this.

The Ride: Detail
Many of our CBG members have been affected by Breast Cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so let's do something to help eradicate this awful disease and have some fun doing it!

Our route will create a giant ribbon across Washington DC, and of course we want it to be PINK! Please dress yourself and your bike in pink! Get CREATIVE!

Our 19-mile route takes us to some of the very best of the DC sites, including the White House, Capitol, Supreme Court, and Union Station. We'll also cruise some of the quaint neighborhoods of our nation's capital. We will certainly make a statement!

Important Note #1 :
This ride is a MEDIUM MINUS. It involves a lot of street riding (hence Medium), but at a beginner pace (hence Minus).

Important Note #2 :
This will not be a quick ride, it will be a nice 19-mile long ramble that will last 3 to 4 hours, given city streets, photo stops, rest stop, and beginner pace. Please be aware of this.

The Meeting Spot:
East Potomac Driving Range @ Hains Point
-- Southernmost Parking Lot
972 Ohio Dr SW
Washington, DC 20024
* GPS: https://goo.gl/maps/grXt528kCXp
* PARKING: https://goo.gl/gLtCnh

We will be easy to find in all of our PINK! We will then ride over to the Washington Monument where the Pink Ribbon ride will begin!

The Ride After the Ride:
Hoping to plan a nice "post ride" eating activity. Stay Tuned!!!
