Announcing a new event for CHADD of Northern Virginia!

What: NON-CHADD EVENT -- Help for Gifted Underachieving Teens

When: Saturday, January 12, 1:00 PM

Who should come: TEENS who are underachievers because of their giftedness or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Ages 13 - 18. PLEASE REGISTER to [address removed] or call[masked] and leave your name, age, phone number, and email.

Why: You'll love it, because all the other students there will also be underachievers, and we may underachieve, but we're fun and funny people!

Event Description: Four weekly discussion/help group meetings for Underachieving Gifted/AD/HD Teens. No charge. MUST RSVP to Anne Roberts directly by e-mailing [address removed].

Discussions will be facilitated by

Group leader will be Ms. Anne S. Roberts, MA, a retired Fairfax County Public School high school teacher and an experienced Coach for Underachieving Gifted and AD/HD Teens for five years. Ms. Roberts is a member of Northern Virginia CHADD, ADDA, The AD/HD Resource Group of Northern Virginia, NAGC (National Association for Gifted Children) and FAGC (Fairfax County Association for Gifted Children).

Dates of the discussion meetup are Saturdays on January 12, 19, 26, and February 2. The scheduled time is 1 p.m., but this may change if there are enough responses and a second group is added. If so, sessions will be divided by middle school and high school (including grade 6).
