Knowledge management technologies there to enhance the capture corporate intelligence to drive efficiency and innovation, and support collaboration to enable great outcomes for customers. With the fabric and structure of the organisation changing and introduction of different ways of working (eg increase in remote work), it’s important to understand the needs of the people within the organisation (staff) and on the edge (partners) and customers who rely on corporate knowledge. Human-centred design offers an approach to designing solutions around the needs of these people, understanding their challenges through upfront research and directly involving them in the design of the solution. This session will include examples of how we have supported organisations to take a people-centred approach to successfully designing and implementing large-scale internal knowledge systems.
